Every now and then I see someone showing crashes, so I try to do the same things, and it doesn't happen to me.
Then I wonder, do I have a strange computer? Then I look at my version of Gimp GIT 3.1.3 AppImage on antiX Linux X11... oh, yes, it's strange. Yeah, well that is the case for most users, however it does not help the OP. @kayalif Can you post details of the firefox_screenshot....something file. On your desktop ? Is it a file or a link to a file ? What is the image format ? What is the full file name ? Does it contain any accented characters ? Can you attach the actual file ?

I am dragging a simple png file Have you tried dragging the image to the GIMP logo - which is described as the drag-and-drop area in Edit/Preferences/Interface/Toolbox? That's the area just above the toolbox in the display you posted above. I do agree though that it shouldn't cause a program crash and that this should be reported, if it hasn't been reported already. |
