Maybe this will help: https://youtu.be/l_7sP5TO29c Duration 9 minutes
Some extra tools needed. So they are all from one place, using Ofnuts plugins (other scripts / plugins are available)
ofn-rotate-layer.py https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-to...p/download
ofn-layers-to-image-size.py https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-to...p/download
ofn-interleave-layers.py https://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-to...p/download
All python and go in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins (or for linux users ~/.config/GIMP/2.10/plug-ins )
These can be really annoying
"I do not understand that bit " understandable, but frustrating, when you have no idea that you need Python installed for those plugins to show up.
The video should be a big help, very similar to what I want to achieve, I'll download the other plugins you recomend, If they work as well as the rotate plug, then they well worth having, thanks Rich, searched many times on YouTube for wheel animation vids, but never came across that one.
