Hello,
I've  updated today  Mac to Catalina 10.15.1 but my GIMP stopped working....I could not open any files..
Error printed on GIMP:

Could not read the contents of Desktop

I've resetted  GIMP but no result.
How to fix error and be able to get images?

Still on Gimp 2.8? is it 32-bit on 64-bit? Lots of problems reported with Catalina (and not only with Gimp).

I've  deleted 2.8 and reinstalled  2.10.  It looks  more complicated then2.8. 
 Are the lore option to edit images adjusting their color and/or it more efficient?
Any tutoring of GIP?
Yes,  a lot of others apps stopped to work..... I am wondering go back to old version...
