Save to .XCF Default Format Setting?
#1
Hail all:

Now, I've been using Gimp for quite a while, and all the time, I checked "Save this XCF file with better but slower compression" manually.

How can I make it so, that this becomes the normal, standard form, please?

Thank you:
Xog.

Reload it in GIMP, then File > Save as...  a window opens, Un-check that option and Click the Save button

Thank you.

However, I do not think, you understood my question:
How can I make GIMP automatically save when pressing CTRL-S with the "Save this XCF file with better but slower compression" prechecked, so it always save as "with better/slower compression"?

Indeed (never do multiple things at the same time Wink )

I did search in Preferences, I can't find something about it.

I don't think that this is possible at the moment. Perhaps raise a feature request on https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp

Severe Asperger's and severe ADHD:
I get what you mean.

It's like:

While certainly hilarious ... it is not really functional.   Tongue

@Porgrammer_ceds

Sir, do you have a direct link to the request page?

Been looking for this, but I fail to find it.
Likely too dumb or too blind.   O_O   XD

Thank you aforehand:
Xog.

Quick Edit:
Found a different link:
The Request, eh. XD
Placed the request there, should you like to see it.

Thank you all, once more, for the help:
Xog.
