What exactly do you need to change in the text ?

Do you need to keep the fonts? If you do, then you need to identify them and there are sites that can help such as http://www.whatfontis.com

The best match I can find for SOUTHSIDE is Route159 font  https://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/route-159

but for the small text DejaVu Sans is a better match. DejaVu is standard on my linux computer but maybe not for Windows. try  http://www.fontsquirrel.com/fonts/dejavu-sans

To put the text in a circular shape, you make a circular path, then Layer -> Text along path which makes another path that you fill in.

Nothing is ever easy is it.  (I put in that black background to show the text better)

You cannot merely "change the text". You have to redo the image using new text. And all the layers with text are no longer true text layers, so the font information gone.

So you have better redo it from scratch (you can salvage the background and crown layers, if necessary). Not too difficult, and you get even get truly concentric text ("VINTAGE" and "CLOTHING" are a bit off).
  • You need three circle paths (two for the circles, and one as a guide for ("VINTAGE" and "CLOTHING" are a bit off), you can for instance use circular selection, and Select > To path. Use a cross hair with guides to make the center of your selections so that all the circles are concentric
  • To draw the partial circles you remove arcs from the circles: add horizontal guides where they should stop, make the path visible, start the path editor, click on the path to edit it, add nodes on the guides (Ctrl-click), and remove segments (and perhaps nodes) between the two guides (Ctrl-shift click). Then use Edit > Stroke path in Line mode to render the arcs.

  • The draw the circular text you will need two half circles, one for the top and one for the bottom. Start with a full circle path, and duplicate it. In one you add two nodes on the center horizontal guide and delete nodes/segments below, and on the other you do the same bu delete nos§segment above
  • Then you use these two paths with my ofn-text-along-path script
  • The rest is fairly obvious.

Well...this is the way I might proceed. All standard Gimp tools.

A bit on the long side 8 minutes.
