Well, that's what they all tell me in the family, even if they don't put it so politely Smile

I know what you mean, I think they should have used 'systematizing' - it's more descriptive Smile

I'm sorry you guys are having such hot weather right now. Summertime has turned scary.

I spent a lot of my working life in the Middle East so not that bothered by a bit of sun. Also some time in East Java and I always remember the girls in the office wearing a cardigan / sweater from 1st September. Summer was over, Winter had started. Absolutely no difference in the temperature. Now that is scary Wink

'Watercooler' is an appropriate place to discuss the heatwave-drought in the UK and EU Smile
At least you don't get bush fires or forest fires.

You must have had an interesting career rich. I have been based in Australia because its hard to leave even if you wanted to. I'm not from Tasmania but have been here for 20 years. Outside the city in the country. Thats why I worry about bushfires.

Plenty of wildfires in France this month, including in areas that are traditionally always moist like Brittany...

The other worry is that this missing water will eventually show up someday, but likely in very brutal ways. A hard rain is gonna fall...

According tp the UK Met Office, that is in two days time.

What I've seen on TV is England looks more like Australia. There has also been news clips of forest fires in the South of France that I think are now under control. I hope you do get rain soon.

Apparently a big volcanic eruption near Tonga earlier this year released a huge amount of water vapor that is effecting the Earth's climate.
