Sorry my version of gimp is 2.8.18. The dds Unix executable file is in /Applications/Gimp.app/Contents/Resources/lib/gimp/2.0/plug-ins. But it is not in /Users/funnnyfarmhomefolder/Library/Application Support/GIMP/2.8/plug-ins. The file I am trying to open is a texture file, I change the file type to dds. And dragging that file to Gimp. Shouldn't that open the file? thanks funnnyfarm
