resynthesizer 3.0
#1
I download resynthesizer 3.0 and put the script files in the GIMP 3.0 script folder and the exe file in the GIMP plugin folder. I am using GIMP 3.0.0-1 and find Resynthesizer in the menu, so GIMP finds it. When I try to use Resynthesizer, I get the menu, but when I activate the plugin, I get an error, and the plugin stops. Is the plugin ready for GIMP 3.0.0-1?

It should work, exactly as you described. I have tried the JamesH plugin in a Win10 VM / Gimp 3.0.0-1

Try the scm files as plugins see: https://discuss.pixls.us/t/need-help-ins...u=rich2005

Just a guess, but originally was the resynthesizer.exe in its own folder resynthesizer. You could omit that in Gimp 2.10 but now mandatory in Gimp 3

I don't know if it will be useful, but I managed to make a scm script-fu that replaces heal transparency and heal selection using G'mic's inpainting functions... under certain conditions.

That is, that the brush/eraser used is with sharp edges and not blurred, the selection is not rectangular.

Is there a place where I can direct people wanting a Windows-compatible resynthesizer plugin? All I can find is a link to an anonymous Box.com directory... Doesn't elicit safe vibes...

Gimp 3.0.2 / windows 10 : the script works but I get a better result on a same photo with resynthesizer. Thanks for the effort.

Also I re-bundled the JamesH Windows Gimp3 resynth files all as plugins here:
