The new release from DOSBox is DOSBox-X,  an open-source DOS emulator for running DOS applications and games.

But have they got a diskette reader emulator?  Because I have a stack of diskettes for SimCity...

Long ago I copied all my interesting floppy disks to the hard drive. I don't have a disk drive anymore, so I can't test if it is possible to mount a disk drive. Maybe this can help you:
