Does anyone know how to make a Global Map with individually selectable countries?

I'm planning to massively troll scammers, and part of my thing will be having a wallpaper of the Global Map with the countries filled in each with their own image (bacon for Canada, NY Fries for the United States, etc). I know how to do the masking. I just need the Global Map with individually selectable countries. If desirable, I can post the finished product, so you can enjoy it.

I don't know if I understand the question correctly but a way to do it : download this map : https://pngimg.com/image/34484 and select the countries with the "Fuzzy Select Tool". Put the background you want (frites, etc...) as a layer below the map layer. Set the background layer as default layer  and invert the selection. Delete the selection inverted selection. Set the selection off.
