About the permission to use this image, would it be for use in the public domain or would it have any restrictions on use?

The forum terms allow users to keep copyright. However, I am not bothered, use this one anyway you like. It is a scaled down for the forum. I was thinking a suitable crop and resynthesize might make a nice tilable texture (pattern).
