Depends on the web-browser, somewhere in the settings, something like this

...that is a Firefox 124.0.1 from a couple of weeks ago and I see latest is now 126. (with some security fixes, I wonder what they are)

I made several exceptions for this site trying to access it:

1- I disabled "Use secure DNS";
2- I enabled and disabled (I tested with both options) "Always use secure connections - HTTPS- Only Mode;
3- Allow the display of "pop-ups" and "redirects";
4- I disabled Ad-Block for this site;
5- I cleaned cookies;
6- I think I made some other changes that I don't remember now.

Nothing worked.

Another time I will try from another computer, tablet and cell phone to see if I can access it.

rich2005, thx.

Same problem here: neither Opera, Google, Firefox and MS Edge can't connect to the website. I looked for another browser (thanks rich Wink ) and found the Pale Moon browser. I installed the browser and there was no problem connecting to the website.

I downloaded Firefox, imported Brave's settings, and tried the website getting this.

I disabled ALL cookies in Firefox.

The website started working!

I tried Opera. It's was working without any changes to Opera.
I tried Brave. It was not working. Tried disabling all cookies in Brave. No joy.

Closed all windows. Cleared browsing data. Retried in Firefox. The website stopped working. Opera stopped working.

The site for my plugins has not been accessible lately. Sorry about that. Now it should be fixed, and the links on this forum to the site seem to work ok (though I have tried only two of the links). The problem was about a certificate; now the address contains https instead of http but as I said, the old links seem to work.

Fixing the problem has taken so long since I tried to contact a maintainer of the site in the wrong way. I wrote to a help forum, and the maintainer apparently does not follow that forum. So I got no reply from there.

Now it should be ok. If there are any further problems, you can try to ask, but I no longer read Gimp-Forum.net regularly.

This said, there is a bigger problem. When Gimp3 comes out all my plugins will be obsolete. And, sorry to say, I am not going to port them to Gimp3. I have gone to another hobby, and I feel now that I am forgetting fast even how to write plugins. And more pressingly, my interests are now elsewhere. And I am getting older every year and have no more the energy the work takes.

If somebody else wants to take the trouble to port any of my plugins to Gimp3, that is all right with me.

Good to hear from you. It is very understandable about Gimp 2 <> Gimp 3 and all the scripting changes. Hopefully someone will take up the code and adjust for Gimp 3.

I am also sure that due to large amount of old-but-useful Gimp 2 scripts and plugins that are unlikely to be updated, Gimp 2 will be around for some time.

All the best with your new hobby and interests.
