I have GIMP 2.10.21 installed - extracted from the appimage - thanks to much help and advice from Rich.
Now I would like to upgrade it to 2.10.25. Is there a way to do this, or is it necessary to delete all the files including the config files and the .desktop file and re-install?
Also, I have acquired a new camera which uses .cr3 raw files, so nufraw no longer works. I could use rawtherapee but I find that complicated. It provides me with almost infinite ways of getting it wrong and I hate the gloomy interface (perhaps it is time for the braille version)!
Filmulator however works, is simple and has a nice clear UI. Would it be an advantage to extract this from its appimage?
With extracted appimages, is there a good way to upgrade/transfer these to another computer, for instance by a usb stick?
David.
