Another way, for the visible layer

Set the background colour to black
Remove the layers alpha channel, Layer -> Transparency -> Remove Alpha Channel (overwrites the saved erased pixels)
Restore the layers alpha channel, Colours -> Color-to-Alpha selecting black as the colour

Unfortunately my GIMP desktop looks very different compired to yours.
In addition I am not able to mark the logo of the image.

Going for the cropping method. You are almost there, this is the frame from your video where you apply the crop. That was ok, but nothing to crop.

   

You are on the wrong layer  'für klein und groß'
You need to be on the 'Visible' layer.

Gimp has various indicators showing boundaries etc. Look for a yellow dotted layer boundary.

If you are using a path as in the ealier posts, then you should scale / move the path to the required position. Then on a new layer fill the path Edit -> Fill Path 

If you want to use what you already have, then use Layer -> Scale Layer and the Move tool. 

One of your problems is you do not have the layers dock open. Forget the channels until required.

Back to removing those saved pixels in the alpha channel. This method might be a little easier for you.

Make a new transparent layer. Layer -> New Layer

Move the new layer to under the layer labeled 'Visible' You can click-drag in the layers dock or there are little up / down arrows bottom of the dock or use the menu Layer -> Stack -> Lower (raise) Layer

Select the layer labeled 'Visible' and merge down into the new layer  Layer -> Merge Down
