Every time I open Gimp 2.10.14 the histogram defaults to the range 0,-0. In fact, every time I open a new image this happens. Is there any way to set it to default 0,255? Also, am I the only one with this issue?

It looks like a bug to me. Might start with 0 - 255 but as you report, as soon as an image is opened then goes to 0 to -0 Depending on precision should be 0 to 255 or 0.000 to 1.000
I could see nothing to force a 'saved' 0 to 255 I had a search but nothing reported yet. You should bug report here: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/

What happened to the Bugzilla thing? I don't have an account on that above link. Maybe I can find another place where the people that can fix it can see

Use the Standard option and either sign-in (1) which gives directions to create an account or use an existing gmail address (2) if you have one. https://i.imgur.com/NFHCztX.jpg Be prepared to be p****d off by requests for more information and do not expect an immediate fix. Edit: There you are: https://gitlab.gnome.org/GNOME/gimp/issues/4205
Thanks! I was trying to follow your directions, but that link doesn't work and I see no directions when I click sign in. Wow this is even worse that Bugzilla, which was pretty bad. Also it resets every time a new layer is added.
