On Ubuntu starting from 23.10 apparmor has become strict to avoid attacks via userspace and namespace (I don't know what I'm talking about), but sometimes you also have to make the rules to put in /etc/apparmor.d/
If you are using Debian 13 Trixie or Mint 22.1 Xia these problems with apparmor are not there.
