Can anyone help me here, please? I can only get the Text Tool to write in a green colour, or black. It was all ok last time I used the text tool some weeks ago & I could get any colour from the pallette. What am I doing wrong or has something changed?
I am using Gimp 2.10.38 on Windows 11. I have attached a file.

Hi - friend of Daiappy here
From my limited testing this looks like it's a bug in the 2.10 series. Specifically I can reproduce it here with a 16bit int image and the RT Large colour space. When using 100% red, 0% green, 0% blue as the selected colour, I get green looking text in the image. Measuring the colour of the text using the colour picker shows the values:
R 0
G 65535
B 0
R -968.8%
G 109.4%
B -24.5%
So I'm guessing some combination of the large gamut profile and the 16 bit int precision is causing the issue. Indeed, converting the image from 16 bit int to float *or* converting the profile to Gimp's internal sRGB before adding the text "fixes" the issue.
I cannot reproduce this in Gimp 3 rc2. It works as expected there.
