One of Ofnuts plugins ofn-gradient-along-path.py from http://sourceforge.net/projects/gimp-pat...s/scripts/  (date 2018-05-17)

Un-zip & goes in C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\plug-ins

Right click in paths dock, bottom of the menu.
