Hey guys, brushes aren't straight anymore! (SOLVED)

Hey everyone, I hope everyone is well. 

I have a quick question regarding brushes, I downloaded Gimp 2.10 several days ago and have to say that the programme is actually great however my brushes are no longer applying straight, they were fine before but now when I try to use them they paint at angles and move around alot. 

For example, I do pixel art; a few days ago I could just click several times and have several squares come up, now if I do that the brush goes at all types of angles sometimes doing diamonds, other times crosses, it's super strange.

I have reset the brushes, the angle is at 00.00, it's set to normal. I'm not sure what to do?

Almost certain it will be a dynamics setting in operation. In the brush ( or pencil) tool options change the dynamics to off.
