Does GIMP work well on windows 11 with a 4K monitor
#1
I was wondering if there were any issues using GIMP on Windows 11 with a 4K monitor? I'm planning on updating soon. Thanks for your feedback

For a 4K monitor, the usual complaint is about the small toolbox icons, even set to max size. Sometimes about menu text size but that can be fixed  with a simple config file.

Thanks for your reply. I'm not sure what you mean by a simple config file. Could you expand on that more? Thanks

Do a search for gtkrc It goes in your Gimp profile. There are examples around.

To save writing your own, there is a plugin that does it for you. see: http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t...10#p261235

Edit: I did post an example here: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Issues...8#pid39998
