How to show the propeties bar in corret way

It is the fonts dialogue. It lists the fonts that are available to use with Gimp.

What exactly do you want to show?

If you do not want to see it, that tab can be closed using the little left pointing arrow.

It it can be used to select a font to use with the text tool As the left side of Gimp toolbox and tool options



The properties, font size, spacing ... are shown in the tool options
