Is this just a one off; or are you doing a whole bunch of them on a regular basis? If the latter, it will be worthwhile putting in a little extra effort and creating a template.

Edit Reason: typo

I do know there are fonts with numbers in circles/squares: https://www.dafont.com/numberpile.font & https://www.dafont.com/cd-numbers.font
Another way, is make a Gimp brush to 'stamp' the circle/square, if you make a greyscale image and export as a .gbr, the brush can take the FG colour. example https://i.imgur.com/w7vDIss.jpg Or as Blighty pointed out make a template. I went a bit overboard with this to see how much effort it takes. Mainly duplicating layers in Layer groups. It then becomes a matter of toggling visibility on/off for various layers. Scores are text layers with zero as a marker to be replaced. example https://i.imgur.com/xSgPtwf.jpg I do think that the size of the image will come into it, 800 pix wide I think is about the minimum, smaller than that and numbers become pixellated. Up to you what size you use but larger is better. FWIW example attached. |
