Is there a script to select all the nodes inside a selection?

I'm speaking about the nodes on a path, actually I need to select multiple nodes I want to move one by one
Select first one > Shift Select next > Shift Select next > Shift Select next > Shift Select next > Shift Select next > Shift Select next > Shift Select next........ that get quickly very very annoying

I would like to know if there is something like make a selection, and just run the script and nodes inside the selection are selected
