Make size A1 Poster - right setting?

Hello there!

I want to make a poster in the size A1 and therefore choose the settings your can see nin the picture below.
I want to print the finished poster then on paper with the size A1 - will that work out?

The problem is that you are using a 72PPI print definition and this is going to be grainy. For A4, good quality is 300PPI, and excellent quality is 600PPI. In A1, that would be roughly 110PPI/220PPI to keep relative pixel/image size. The print definition can be changed in the advanced options.

Okay, so I changed the settings - are these correct?

Yes. Much better. But the image is huge, and may require lots of RAM. You can reduce the print definition to 150DPI to reduce the image size without too much visible impact on the final printed image.
