'lo everyone!
I'm new here, but not new to Gimp and I can use it to do a great many things. But, one thing I've never learned to do is to manipulate a texture so that one or more sides / edges align with existing curves.
I know how to align one to freely drawn curve, but not how to align one with a curve that is already defined so that I can match it without distorting the texture.
The specific application, at the moment, is to add an edge of lace around the bottom of a dress. The curve is part of a UV map for a dress for a 3d avatar, so it will be seen on all sides and needs to align well with the bottom of the dress fabric so it will look right from all angles.
Can anyone walk me through doing that, if it's possible?
