From LibreCAD - I am saying that.
Go back and read post #3 , look at the screenshot Set the size in The LibreCAD export to the size in pixels you require. LibreCAD is vector. It will render any size you want to a raster image. No need to scale in Gimp.
What size is Amazon requiring for your publication.
Amazon doesnt require a particular size in pixel. It prints whatever we submit to them if it meets their quality quidelines. Now, my book is a 8x10 inch book. This means, on my pages after accounting for left and right margins, I have about 700 pixel or less available width for an image. So I can easily make jpg images from my drawings from librecad , to any pixel size I want, I know that part, but librecad exports them only as 96 ppi . I do not see a way in librecad to make them as 300 ppi. So I i export a certain pixel size of jpg from librecad, lets say a 2000 wide pixel image.
Then I must do two things.
1- Reduce it to 700 pixel wide at most (since it willl be a larger file if I didnt and would make my document unnecessarily larger file size, considering I have a lot of images)
2-I must make this image as 300 ppi since in the past amazon's system gave error for images below 300 ppi and when I adjusted those images ppi to 300, it had worked and their system removed error message for those images.
