dumb question, can you give an example of "organic shape/selection"
On a basic level, if you have both images open "as-layers" you can trace a shape using the free select tool on one layer (image-1) then copy that selection from the other layer (image-2) and paste back into image-1
...but there are several ways in Gimp. It all depends on your example
