Need info on my image

I have make a few coin images, just for fun, but it does not look good, what can I do to improve it.

• The various circles  (explicit or implied by centering on the letters and stars) are not concentric and things don't look centered between them.
  
• The serration is much too tight and sharp to be realistic
  
• There is some asymmetry that makes one think that you intended some perspective but it just looks like the rim changes into a bevel.

I am still trying to get all the letters and stars to be center,  but it is going slow

I am not sure what Serration is even if I translate to Afrikaans, still confusing to me 

Still trying to figure out how to get the rim to look nice
