Before/After ... Had fun with this one. I just selected where the river would drop, used the rotate selection ( which I played with a little) and added the fish

The transition is too sharp next to the board.
I would go with a rotation and a layer mask with the edge done with a soft brush in the mask.
Also, the fishes in the back are probably a bit big.
But pretty good for a start.
