Open, save buttons on bottom of the dialog?
#1
Hi all,

I'm using Gimp 3 RC2 on KDE Plasma.
All my programs (including Tb, FF which are not QT) have Save, Open, Cancel buttons at the bottom of the file dialog.

But gimp has them on top, which is super nonintuitive for me.

I know this is GTK and not Gimp thing.
I tried setting
Code:
gsettings set org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings overrides "{'Gtk/DialogsUseHeader':<0>}"

but it didn't work:
Code:
No such schema “org.gnome.settings-daemon.plugins.xsettings”

Does anyone have an idea how to move the buttons to the bottom of the dialogs?

Long time KDE user and I have never seen that before. Using kubuntu 24.04 and Gimp 2.10 / 3.0 appimage.
I had a quick look in system settings -> window management -> window rules and nothing here that looks like it moves those buttons. If you have any for Gimp can you dump all and see if it resets ?  I have 2 one for each Gimp, size/position/shade/on-top....etc

Nah, I don't have any window rules.
Here's how it looks, "new image" dialog has buttons on top, too.

I have the buttons at the bottom: I think it is caused by a combination of GTK theme (Mint y Dark Orange) and Window Manager (JWM), which include the buttons at the bottom.

Same as Rich. What KDE theme are you using?
