whenever I try to select a small area with free select tool  and theen do heal selection through filter, I find an error message. It doesnt seem to  change even if I try to reduce pixels to  25 etc.

Can anyone tell me the reason. Please the screenshot

Maybe the Feather Edge radius you use with the Free Selet Tool is too big compared to the size of the area you select.
The final selection contains no full selected pixel.
Try with a smaller Feather edge radius when doing your selection.

Go to your Free Select Tool Options and Deselect Feather Edges and try again.

Thank a lot. This seems to have solved the problem.

I have deselected the feather edge and then the problem seems to be solved. Thanks a lot.
