Gimp Text Tool writing in Green Colour
#1
Can anyone help me here, please?  I can only get the Text Tool to write in a green colour, or black. It was all ok last time I used the text tool some weeks ago & I could get any colour from the pallette.   What am I doing wrong or has something changed?
I am using Gimp 2.10.38 on Windows 11. I have attached a file.

No file attached.

  1. Check if you are in a color indexed image
  2. In your channels list, make sure all channels are selected (if what you get is pure green, it may be that the red and blue channels have been deselected).

Rich - thanks. Very fast reply.  I'll look into the color indexed image. A bit to read & take in.
The image came out of RawTherapee. The mode is in RGB and all the channels are selected.
Maybe  a setting changed in RT.
