Some ideas:
If it's to write something or doing it on letters
There is a font there ➤ https://www.1001fonts.com/origram-font.html Tuto over there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=biingZwbUMw using that font it's an acceptable tuto, for its beginner simplicity, instead of using the brush I would use gradient dark to transparency for longer shadows and the free select tool with the Ctrl key down to have proper angles with more freedom without the need to rotate selection, though, also the tuto starts around 5mn, and less than 1mn watching it, you'll understand the principle. Here http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=11&t...80#p268004 you might want to take a look at the .xcf (download the .zip) it's very simply made and fully decomposed in the .xcf, even though it's not the effect you're searching for, it might help to have a better understanding A variation ➤ http://gimpchat.com/viewtopic.php?f=23&t=2083 this can be achieve with way less steps, but maybe it can be useful. |
