It seems that a typography studio closed down and without being able to sell their fonts anymore, they decided to make them available for free. But I am not sure about this information.
It is not hard to download fonts if you do it their way...
The problem is mostly that the site is designed without a page for each font, instead they use Javascript to update a frame in the home page. Yes, it's a cardinal sin, because you cannot give a URL to a specific font.
If you want to open fonts in several tabs, you can duplicate the tab, then select anther font in the new tab.
Btw, it's not some typesetting agency, it looks like fonts collected on the usenet newsgroup alt.binaries.fonts. But of course, Usenet is known only by boomers.
