Remove Hot Pixels was one of my first idea (as its one of the few filters where i actually know whats its good for).
Just tried a Selective Gaussian Blur with a Radius of 30 and Delta the default 50. That helps but makes it look a bit dull...not sure if i like that.
I think selective Blur is the filter that a lot of smartphone users apply and can make you look like Odo from 'Deep Space 9' when overdone
Also tried the G'MIC variant Smooth [bilateral] but that smeared the contours into blobby territory.
Smooth [anisotropic], my default filter for improving texteffects, doesnt bring it either
did you use centerline tracing ?
i tried that too, but it doesnt produce the kind of paths that are optimal for this effect, so i had to do it manually, and there is still room for improvement.
P.S: congrats on your 1000st post !
