Text to path issue

Hello,
I did a quick search through google, YouTube, and here.
But I could not find anyone having the same problem as I am.
I am creating a round logo, and in the logo is going to be a name that is round as well. When I put the text "text to path", it does not put the text on the line, but rather an inch away from the line. It is still circular, just not on the path.
Is this a setting that has changed? I have made round logos before and never had an issue, and I do not recall making any setting changes.
Can anyone help here?

It all depends how you format the text: A (carriage return/newline) Enter none / before / after text

   

Always worth checking in the text tool options that the Box value is set to Dynamic
