Text Layer Edit Disappointment

The option to inset symbol or emoji under the Edit menu is gone. It's a relatively minor thing, perhaps, but I wish I still had it. Why take options away with the new version (3.0.0, in my case)?

I don't see this in standard Gimp? Perhaps added by a script/plugin you forgot about? Note that V3 is not compatible with most scripts & plugins written for 2.10 and prior.
