Converting Gimp Files to JPEG
#1
I have many photos stored on my hard drive. They were saved as JPEG. Somehow I clicked something in Gimp I think, that converted them all to a Gimp filea.  What can I do to convert the photos on my hard drive back to JPEG?  In Gimp they show as JPEG.   Is there a one click thing that will convert them (one's on hard drive) back to JPEG?  Also, I am using 3.02(revision 1). That was not a choice I could select when I registered.
Thank you,
Scave

They have not been converted... It just happens that installing Gimp has updated the file associations and made Gimp the default application to open such files, so they are now displayed with a GImp icon. If you tweak your file associations to remove Gimp or at least not have it as the default app, they will recover their usual icon.

Ofnuts beat me to it.  As an example:

(1) Is no association and a default icon is used for graphic files
(2) The Windows PhotoViewer is the default for opening Image files.

A quick hunt around and this is a s good as any:
