The place for Gimp patterns in Windows is
C:\Users\"yourname"\AppData\Roaming\GIMP\2.10\patterns
Appdata is a 'hidden' folder so un-hide it see: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/wind...66d1d9f4b5
If you still cannot find it, you can get there from the Gimp menu Edit -> Preferences folders (1) Gives the location (2) and the top right icon (3) opens in Windows Explorer.
You can export as a Gimp .pat or a .png A Gimp .pat has the advantage of a description.
