Keep looking here for a new version: https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-appimage/releases/
Carmelo has automated development / pre-release versions that come out approximately weekly The latest pre-release is GIMP_AppImage-git-2.10.19-20200605-withplugins-x86_64.AppImage which is from a week ago. This is really the same as the Gimp 2.10.20 bar the name. However, the release versions 2.10 - 14 / 18 / 20 are not automatic ,so keep checking on the site until Gimp 2.10.20 is produced. Carmelo said - very busy at the moment with other work, so be patient. As the name, these are self-contained & portable, download and run. Back the old version up somewhere, you might need it sometime in the future. The new version uses the same Gimp profile ~/.config/GIMP-AppImage/ Any settings / resources are used by the new version.

Gimp 2.10.20 appimage is there: https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-appimage/releases/
It is a long list easily missed. The download is https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-app...4.AppImage I have been using it for the last 10 days or so, works very well. As far as I know Carmelo is the only one making Gimp appimages at the moment. I made some long ago but it is not easy now with the required Gimp dependencies. Not going to reinvent the wheel.

Thanks. I will check.
My 2.10.18 is on the context menu. When I start using 2.10.20 will it overwrite 2.10.18 ? And when I use " Open with " which one will it choose ?

You got an 'Add to menu' message on first use? I always decline and make my own launchers. You might have to do that. The two appimages are separate and self-contained so you can use either. Gimp 2.10.18 will be a bit of a waste of space, you can move to a backup disk somewhere (or delete it) What does remain is the appimage user profile. What you set up for 2.10.18 remains for 2.10.20
Thanks. I just set it up. I got an " add to " option when I double clicked the app image. It works through K Menu as well ( where I edited the 201.0.18 to 2.10.20 ). Context menu method works too.

Eagerly waiting for 2.10.22 app image.

Up to now it has been a week or so for the new 'stable' to appear. AFAIK these are 'hand' made and changes in Gimp requirements can cause delays. Keep checking https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-appimage/releases/ click on the Assets to expand the list. When (if) Gimp 2.10.22 appears it will be down near the bottom of the list. There are development versions that are automatically generated (each Thursday) so yesterdays GIMP_AppImage-git-2.10.23-20201008-withplugins-x86_64.AppImage is essentially the same as Gimp 2.10.22 appimage. I usually check these and that one should work 'buntu 18.04 / 20.04 The 2.99 (pre-Gimp 3) versions another story
