I tried installing 2.10.38 but I got the 'Entry Point Not Found' message;
so I simply opted for version 24. Who knows, if I had simply reinstalled my old version
it might have worked.
.....snip.....
I pulled out my old Win7 64 bit VM and installed Gimp 2.10.24 (setup-3.exe)
As I suspected, gimp_gmic_qt latest version 3.4 does not work - that same Entry Point error. If you want to try it, get the last of the 2.9 series
https://gmic.eu/files/windows/gmic_2.9.9..._win64.exe

That works for me. Even if you do not use it for the fisheye, there are lots of useful filters in the plugin.

Sorry, but I do not know if that works.

I've tried installing gmic; but when I start Gimp I get "The procedure entry point _ZSt28_throw_bad_array_new_lengthv could not be located in the dynamic link library lbstdc ++-6.dll."
Any ideas why I'm getting this?
Thanks,
..... john
Oops........ false alarm. I was able to download the free standing version, which works fine.

You can always use the GMIC online too at https://gmicol.greyc.fr/.
May not be the latest version but close to it.
