Text along path - Pink tint?

Greetings friends,

I'm messing around trying to create a logo for a rec league basketball team, and I've gotten pretty far, but I've encountered a weird problem while trying to get text along path to work.
The problem being, after I select the path, when I fill, the color I pick is not the color that is displayed, everything is tinted red for some reason. I will attach the .xcf so people can see the problem for themselves if it is not clear.

Open your Channels dialog (possibly a tab next to your Layers list, or in any case Windows>Dockable dialog>Channels) and make sure all channels (in particular green) are selected and visible.
