Hi
I'm using GIMP 2.10.36 on win 10. In the past I've exported pdf files OK, but the file I'm working on at the moment the rhs of the layer(s) is truncated, or, rather, seems to be covered over by a rectangle of background colour - the overall width of the document seems to be about what I expected.
Any idea what could be happening here?
Gary
I've investigated a bit and it seems that the layers are not truncated but there is something in the generated file that prevents Microsoft Edge -- my pdf reader -- from rendering the file correctly. It first reports that there is a problem with the file, and doesn't open it. It is when I try to load the file into edge a second time that it appears to have the rhs of the document 'truncated!. However, I've tried to open the file with irfanview and there it does load OK, but of course irfanview is not a good option for viewing pdf files. So I would like to know what gimp is putting (or not putting) into the file that renders it incompatible with MS edge.
I have generated pdfs from gimp before which do not exhibit this problem, and as far as I can think I've produced this one in the same way.
Any suggestions welcome as I spent quite a bit of time producing these files and have several more to do, and I really don't want this happening.
