Upgraded to Gimp 2.10.18 Fade Adjustment Dialog Is Gone Or Moved
#1
I upgraded my operating system and it came with Gimp 2.10.18.
in the previous version of Gimp when I used the unsharp mask or
auto color balance there would be under the edit menu the option
of fading the adjustment I had just made. Its no longer there. Is it
gone or have they made it hard to find?

It looks like you are out of luck (by one minor version no.) The 2.10 GEGL unsharp mask options drop-down did not come in until Gimp 2.10.20
This a comparison of Gimp 2.8 (post unsharp mask) and Gimp 2.10.22 GEGL version.

Since your are running Mint 20,  it is possible to install Gimp 2.10.22 from a PPA although adding python support is a bit of a pain.
An alternative is an appimage (I use this one with kubuntu 20.04)
 https://github.com/aferrero2707/gimp-app...4.AppImage
Download - make executable -  run.

Thing of the past I fear. But in 2.10 you can make adjustments and see the effect immediately on the whole image, so the fade thing is not really useful.

Otherwise; duplicate the layer, apply the effect on the top layer, and use the opacity slider as you would have used the fade slider.
