So far, I've tested @rich2005's version for Gimp 2.10 and it seems to work.

for Gimp 2.8 as well

That will be a Resynthesizer Version 2.x

Version 1 is from about 2010, this from the changelog:

The only compiled files I have for that come from when I used 32 bit PClinuxOS and those are not going to work

It's true, I haven't said it: I'm talking about the version compiled for Windows...
