Yes, now that I changed " from resolution " to " small " everything is in place. It was ok yesterday with " from resolution ".

I tried Window management through " preferences ", nothing worked.

I am using Ubuntu, comes with Gnome DE.

Pleased you have it back to 'normal' No easy options in gnome DE for setting window sizes, so forget that.

IMHO it is worth removing some of the toolbox icons, that would get you back to enabling larger icons. Shown on that second video link.
