The 1x1 pixel brush is really meant to be used at 1px size, with the pencil and not the paint brush. And you want to upscale it, use only odd numbers (3x, 5x....). The spacing of 1% isn't helping either (on such a brush, it should be 100%).

There are much better general purpose brushes so why this one?
