work on picture taken from samsung phone

Hello to all,

I want to work on a picture that I took with my samsung. I wanted to add stuff on  a part of the picture and manually put some black on it (you can do it with any phone I guess). I registered the pic on my onedrive, but I now want to remove the part that I previously add to get the picture back to its oirginal look. Do you know if there is a way to do it with gimp?

Added some black areas? (hide face for example)

Sent the edited image (jpeg probably) to onedrive?

There is no way to get the original back from that image.

Have you checked your phone in case the original is still there?

Otherwise, always save a back-up of the original before editing
