Mineral palettes - Zero01 - 02-14-2020
Just wondering if anyone has a palette pack called "Mineral Gimp Palettes" by Deadened Glow?
I downloaded a zip of these great palettes from DeviantArt a while ago but have since lost them...
Tried to find the page on DeviantArt but the uploader's page seems to be deactivated.
Hoping someone on here can maybe find it and post it (or link to it) on here. The zipped folder name was: "mineral_gimp_palettes_by_deadened_glow.zip"

Ik heb een tijdje geleden een zip van deze geweldige paletten van DeviantArt gedownload, maar ben ze sindsdien kwijt ...
Probeerde de pagina op DeviantArt te vinden, maar de pagina van de uploader lijkt te zijn gedeactiveerd.
In de hoop dat iemand hier kan het misschien vinden en hier plaatsen (of een link naar toevoegen). De gezipte mapnaam was: "mineral_gimp_palettes_by_deadened_glow.zip"

Yes, I seem to remember they came in Pack, maybe 5 of them? About 64 colour per mineral if I remember correctly.
So do you have the palettes pack there? Could you upload at all? Thanks!

Ja, ik meen me te herinneren dat ze in Pack kwamen, misschien 5 van hen? Ongeveer 64 kleuren per mineraal als ik me goed herinner.
Heb je daar het palettenpakket? Zou je überhaupt kunnen uploaden? Bedankt!

But it has a .GRD extension (ps). You would have to convert them to. GGR (Gimp)

Probably the same as everyone else, searched everywhere with no sign of deadened_glow +palettes. There are (sort of vague) references to deadened_glow and apophysis gradients. Perhaps same as the one referenced above.
There is a linux utility package cptutils that does gradient conversions. PS .grd -> Gimp .ggr Unfortunately no Debian package for me. Fortunately an online conversion http://soliton.vm.bytemark.co.uk/pub/cptutils-online/select.html
That gets gradients and not difficult to load in Gimp and convert to a palette (one at a time, but it is quick)
