RE: Oldschool Shirt Designs / Threshold Question - Krikor - 04-14-2021 Hi CrystalLogic, I suggest reading these two topics; may be interesting to you: https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-Help-for-putting-a-design-on-this-T-shirt-Mockup-PSD-file?pid=20337#pid20337 https://www.gimp-forum.net/Thread-How-can-I-separate-an-into-groups?highlight=indexed+decomposed In them you will find the link to the Indexed Decomposed script, you will know another way to separate images, and you will see an example of a template. The IndexedDecomposed script basically converts the image to Indexed mode, limits the final number of colors in the image and separates them by layers and automatically returns the image to RGB mode. ►► Using G'micQT - Layers -> Colors to Layers ◄◄ [attachment=5861] RE: Oldschool Shirt Designs / Threshold Question - CrystalLogic - 04-14-2021 Hey Krikor, excellent, thank you for your help and effort. From the pictures it looks like the direction, i wanna go into, eventhough it does not work with thresholds. But after all there are many ways to Rome. I'll see if it works and come back if i have further questions. I begin to realize that GIMP is a lot more complex but also blessed with much more features than i initially thought. No idea why people block it off and say "PS is the industry standard, noone needs GIMP". I for myself am really glad not to be forced to use the weird subscription mode for example. Anyway, great forum guys, appreciate the help! |
